At 21 years old, PSG attacker Kylian Mbappe will grace the cover of the upcoming FIFA 21. The 2020 Golden Boot winner was presumably chosen over teammate and Brazilian superstar Neymar.
Mbappe is coming off a shortened Ligue 1 season, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Paris Saint-Germain were crowned champions following the abrupt cancellation of the season, with Mbappe receiving the Golden Boot with 18 goals and seven assists in 20 games.
The French phenom has racked up the honors and awards in his young career with a World Cup title, Ligue 1 Player of the Year and FIFA Footballer of the Year.
Mbappe is the youngest player to be alone on the cover of FIFA. West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshire was the youngest player to share the cover at 20 years old for FIFA 12. The game will be released Oct. 9 for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and the soon-to-be-released Playstation 5
