There’s an understandable excitement that surrounds an upcoming release for a club’s new kit. Brands will modernize jerseys while possibly using elements from past kits. But those jerseys will only be used for a few months then tossed out, making room for a new kit.
Equipo FC is changing that.
“Materials will come from the aforementioned teams’ last season official shirts, which will be redesigned to fulfil the daily needs of our public,” Equipo FC said in a statement. “Equipo FC is a creative collective that brings to the football universe/arena creative projects based on personal values of recycling, resource optimisation and a unique and committed lifestyle.”
While the face masks have some pertinent pieces of the jerseys included, like the club’s crest or part of a color pattern, it’s the tote bags that carry a large presence of the club. Stitched into a wide rectangular shape, the straps of the bag sit above the jersey’s collar.
The Footbags For Lifeline is another way to rep your team while being environmentally friendly. It’s available now through their online store.
