Inter Milan Football Club is throwing it back to the 1980s with their newest kit from Nike. The black and blue tribal jersey matches the club’s primary colorway while paying homage to Milan’s artistic movement in the ’80s.
In vertical stripes, the black and blue zig-zag lines represent the figurative art movement that swept across Italy. Inter has used vertical black and blue lines since the club’s inception, but this is the first time their jerseys have a unique design to its staple ensemble. The Inter Milan logo sits on the right side of the chest and the Nike swoosh on the left.
Nike is embracing a new era of jersey styles that focus on city inspiration. The brand has seen success in city edition jerseys in the NBA, and have taken a similar approach with MLB in their first year as the uniform provider.
