LeBron James is one of the most well-known athletes in the world. Nike is one of the most well-known brands in the world. In turn, the brand is giving the LeBron 17 signature sneaker the popular “What The” treatment.
The different patterns and colorways make this “What The” iteration of the LeBron 17 look like something out of ‘Space Jam 2.’ The toe starts in solid black and moves into a sparse multi-color pattern. The purple sole ties the shoe’s color scheme together in the official mashup of The King’s “Currency” and “I Promise” lines.
Coming in with a deep red tongue with blue laces creates an element to the sneaker that fits perfectly within the “What The” line. It’s shocking to see the different characteristics of previous shoes come together, but once you see it, it makes sense.
Nike SNKRS Korea will be the first country with access to the “What The” LeBron 17s, while a release date in the US is still unknown. What is known is the $200 USD price tag, that sneaker’s usual price point.
