It looks like the Mexico National Team is gearing up for an eventful summer in Tokyo with a new jersey that is taking social media by storm.
El Tri is known not only for its passionate following, but also for having the best kits in any tournament it participates in. The long awaited Solos, jamás jersey was scheduled to be released in the summer of 2020 just ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympics, but given the COVID-19 pandemic sidelining the games until this year, la seleccion opted for a Spring 2021 debut.
The jersey’s pattern is inspired by the traditional beaded bracelets that are handmade by indigenous groups. The black and magenta colors combine beautifully in this new chapter for the Mexico National Team.
As the selection battles through Olympic qualifiers, it’s safe to say this new jersey will be on the pitch rather soon. The jersey is available for purchase today through the adidas mobile app for $130 USD.
