This is the New Atlético de Madrid Third Jersey Nike 21/22
This time it is no different, as Atlético de Madrid’s third jersey is inspired by what was their home for many years: the Vicente Calderón stadium.
The shirt has a blue base color, while the cuffs and collar are painted in a red and white checkered pattern. These three colors were present in the stands of the stadium.
The shield appears in its official colors, while the Swoosh and sponsors are painted white.
As the detail that closes the idea, a graphic of the extinct stadium appears on the inside of the neck.
The inspiration for the Atlético de Madrid third jersey
Inaugurated on October 2, 1966 in a match against Valencia, Vicente Calderón was for 50 years the scene of great moments that Atlético de Madrid lived in LaLiga and European competitions.
The last match on this court took place on May 21, 2017, where with goals from Fernando Torres and Ángel Correa, Atlético beat Athletic Bilbao 3 to 1.
In more than 50 years, Atlético won 19 league titles, as well as countless memorable nights.
