From a court to the world. The adidas official Champions League Final 2022 ball has been announced, and UEFA has decided to use it to send a message of peace to the world.
The ball is inscribed with the words ‘мир | PEACE’, since the message is directed especially to the warlike conflict that is currently between Russia and Ukraine.
In fact, the ball used during the match will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to help protect people forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution.

Apart from this significant detail, the adidas official Champions League Final 2022 maintains the classic image, on this occasion, made up of white panels that symbolize the message of truce and unity, accompanied by silver stars, on which appear adidas and UCL logos.
In addition, prior to the big day, adidas is organizing the Paris 2022 Grand Final, a special event that offers a unique experience. The event will take place in Saint-Denis, where a unique space has been created for an elite grassroots football tournament to take place with eight local teams from Greater Paris, each representing a neighborhood of the city.
“Throughout its history, the love of the game has united people around the world through one simple object: a soccer ball. We are more motivated than ever to support the incredible players and clubs who are elevating this platform to improve the game and the world, particularly at the grassroots levels,” said Gonzalo Calvo, Global Director of Brand Communications, Communities and Culture at adidas.
The adidas official Champions League Final 2022 ball will not be available for retail sale. The grand final will be played this Saturday, May 28, between Liverpool and Real Madrid at the Stade de France.
