This is not the first time both brands get together, and probably won’t be the last one either. Converse released a new collection of All Star sneakers, paying tribute to four of the most iconic Pokémon of the first generation.
Back in November, the footwear company celebrated the Pokémon’s 25th anniversary with a special collection spanning different models. Now, it was time exclusively for their high-top configuration sneakers.
For this collection they opted for a very simple design, all the upper in a single color with the Pokédex basic facts of the Pokémon represented. The chosen pocket monsters for this collection were Pikachu, Charizard, Eevee and Mewtwo.
Each shoe, besides said description has a Game Boy-styled illustration of each Pokémon on the tongue. Besides, these sneakers come in a special pokéball-inspired red and white shoebox.
As an addition to the bundle, there are four pre-school sized models depicting Pikachu, Eevee, Piplup and Mew. But the new Converse All Star Pokémon collection is available at shop.converse.co.jp for $ 99 USD.
