These are the high-performance jerseys, made from 100% recycled material and Parley Ocean Plastic, which we already saw in the 2021 edition.
The Primeblue 2022 collection uses plastics intercepted on beaches, coastal communities and coastlines, as a measure against ocean pollution; on this occasion, the jerseys are presented between two different variations of color range.
One of the templates presents a blue template with a graphic that simulates the reflection of water in the ocean, while the shield of clubs such as Atlanta Utd, NE Revolution and Portland Timbers, as well as the adidas logo, its three stripes and sponsors, contrast in red.
For the other version, adidas incorporates a white base, accompanied by the same graphic that is shown throughout the jersey; for its part, the details become pink, and it will be teams like Philadelphia Union, New York City and LAFC, who play with it.
The MLS and adidas Primeblue 2022 kits will be seen during games this weekend, in week 14 of the season.
Inter Miami FC dives into the sea to present its Primeblue 2022 kit
The team owned by David Beckham, stood out from the rest in its launch campaign, although it had already done so last season, the bottom of the Cayman Islands sea is still incredible.
On this occasion, the Florida team once again joined forces with internationally renowned underwater photographer, Jason Washington, along with Cayman Islands-born swimmer and freediver model, Coral Tomascik.
The result is amazing, as it shows the beauty of the bottom of a clean ocean, full of life, and without plastic pollution, the objective of the campaign.
The Primeblue 2022 jerseys are now available for purchase on the MLS Store, for a general cost of $89.99 USD.
