IDK Drops New Single From Kevin Durant’s Upcoming ‘Basketball County’ Documentary

Quarantine isn’t letting creativity fall short for IDK, who just dropped his latest single for Kevin Durant’s upcoming documentary “Basketball County: In the Water.”

Titled ‘495,’ the single depicts life in the Washington D.C. area, along with the surrounding cities in Maryland and Virginia. The rhythm of the song fits well into the D.C. rap scene, while the lyrics show a glimpse into the life that is in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia).

IDK teamed up with YungManny to represent the essence of the DMV, an area that they and Durant call home. Prince George’s county has produced more high-profiled NBA players than any other in the US. But the life that’s depicted in ‘495’ can alter the course of someone’s future in PG county.

The song sets up what can probably be expected from Durant’s SHOWTIME documentary, which drops May 15. “Basketball County: In the Water” will explore Prince George’s county and how it came to be one of the most successful areas for basketball players to rise.

It’s IDK’s second single this year and first with YungManny. Also featured on the four-minute song are Weensey, Rico Nasty, Big Jam and Big Flock.
